THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Sports Massage and Massage for Back Injuries

What is Wholistic Massage?

Therapeutic massage can relieve sports injuries as well as recurring issues like lower back problems, tight neck and shoulders, tinnitus, etc.

I was trained in Therapeutic holistic Massage at the College of Holistic Medicine, and qualified in 1987. This course was one of the best massage courses in the country at the time.

I feel very strongly that wholistic massage is a powerful medium of bodywork and I incorporate it into other treatment sessions when it will be beneficial to the client.

Testimonials

"I have been having treatment with Arlene for almost 20 years. I look forward to all the new techniques and treatments she offers in her practice. My current favourite is Aromatouch. Using 8 essential oils by doTERRA along my spine.  I always come away feeling invigorated and ready for anything." Jill O, 2017

"I have a very stiff upper back issues and I find having massage regularly with Arlene helps me to keep my joints and muscles of my neck freer in movement. We have been working together for 10 years and its very much the best treat and treatment that I need." Alison T, 2017

"I can’t believe the improvement in movement around my shoulder blade. I have been nursing a fixed shoulder since two major falls which broke my right arm at a very young age. Now 30 years later I am beginning to get more movement since having a regular, combined session of massage and

Craniosacral with Arlene. Thanks." Linsey, 2014

"I went to Arlene for help when I suffered from jaw pain during my final year of university, although diagnosed by doctors and given various medicine, Arlene’s treatment helped more than any medicine I took. I went to Arlene over the space of a few months and by the end of it my jaw pain was gone. I also felt better in myself, less headaches, less stressed and other aches and pains I suffered with other than my jaw eased up. Arlene’s welcoming and caring persona made the experience extremely pleasant considering the pain I was in. Every visit I felt more relaxed and Arlene was always explaining what the treatment was doing to my body, she always informed me of what she was doing so I understood the treatment. I would recommend Arlene to anyone and I am extremely grateful for all her care and attention to my situation." Antonia, July 2012

"I had a frozen shoulder for many years and all the work I did with physios and osteopaths didn’t seem to work. I was advised to go to Arlene and she worked with me a combination of massage, craniosacral therapy and specific homework. It didn’t take long to see results and now I can bring my arms above my head and move my arms without feeling a twinge." Chris, 2011

"My job is very stressful and I find it difficult to relax, but having regular treatments with Arlene has helped me to stay calm and relax even when times are difficult." Robert L, 1988 – 2005 RIP
